Enjoying Months in Japan (Part 3)
How is September in Japan? Fall has arrived. This month is also hurricane season. Farmers are concerned about the arrival of rain and wind before the harvest of rice or fruit. But after a strong wind blowing, the sky was a beautiful day and night the moon shines bright nan. In Japan, it is a habit to enjoy the moonlight on the full moon in September, to give thanks for autumn harvest.
The day of the month looks more beautiful every year, people are grateful for the fall harvest put the tall grass, sweet potatoes, chestnuts, and cake balls as gifts. There is also a festival called Keiro, namely respect for the elderly in Japan, namely, respect for parents who have contributed much to society and to celebrate the their age length.
